ISNI : un identifiant passerelle
Résumé
Organizations have been managing data about persons and groups involved in the different stages of life of intellectual productions for a long time. They have also been waiting for a unique international identifier that could be used as a bridge between systems and databases, thus making the transfer of information easier. The International Standard Name Identifier (ISNI) was developed to meet this need. The different stages of the development and implementation of this management system are described in this article It also outlines some of the challenges associated with the numeric environment.
