Cultiver son jardin numérique : métaphore et dispositifs éditoriaux : Entretien avec Pascal Robert

Abstract : Is the analogy of the garden can help us to understand the concept of "cultivating digital"? In this article in the form of an interview with Pascal Robert, we assume, from historical and epistemological foundations that digital culture unfolds in information ecosystems. We examine, the relevance of this hypothesis in terms of usages, devices and interfaces with some examples including: the "garden" in the enhanced digital edition of Voltaire’s Candide published by the French national Library (BnF) and Orange, a hybrid book available as an iPad app and a website; "Knowledge Garden", a digital platform for knowledge engineering and the development of Digital Humanities
